Job summary

The Boeing Company in San Antonio, TX is hiring an Associate Shipping/Receiving Specialist for 1st shift. The role handles incoming/outgoing shipments, DOT-compliant handling of hazardous goods, and MSDS verification.

You will maintain inventory and ensure accurate shipping paperwork and compliance. Responsibilities include picking, packing, scheduling shipments, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery while meeting customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to fluently, read, write and speak English.
• Experience in operating material handling equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Place parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers.
• Use a cart, identify cartons by part number, cycle counts, hand scanner and PC.
• Pick and fill orders using laptop or hand scanner; print batch tickets and prepare pulls/returns.
• Schedule, track and monitor inbound/outbound shipments and assist with inquiries.
• Complete export documentation and shipping manifests for dangerous goods and ensure quality compliance.
• Demonstrate knowledge of trade compliance and environmental regulations for dangerous goods.
• Arrange cost-efficient shipping methods while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and PO compliance.
• Lead projects supporting continuous improvement.
• Load/unload material, enter data into ERP, prepare for counting.
• Pickup/deliver material within site and match paperwork to boxes.
