Position: Staging and Logistics Specialist

Job Location: Langhorne, Pennsylvania, United States

Overview:

The Staging and Logistics Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT services by managing the staging, configuration, and logistics of hardware and software for our clients. This role involves preparing and configuring IT equipment, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT hardware and software, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Staging and Configuration:
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during the staging and configuration process.
  3. Prepare and configure IT hardware and software for deployment to clients, ensuring all equipment is ready for use upon arrival.
  4. Perform quality checks on all staged equipment to ensure it meets company standards and client requirements.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized staging area to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  1. Logistics Management:
  2. Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, including tracking shipments and managing inventory levels.
  3. Track all part movements with shipping partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all staged and deployed equipment, including serial numbers, configurations, and client-specific information.
  1. Ticketing System Updates:
  2. Update the ticketing system on all activities, including staging and configuration activities, shipment tracking information, and the status of shipments.

Client Support:

  • Provide technical support to clients during deployment in collaboration with Remote Services and Technical Account Management teams, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Procurement, and Customer Success, to ensure smooth staging and logistics delivery.

Customer Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand customer needs, and provide professional and courteous service.
  • Seek feedback proactively to ensure a positive customer experience and communicate insights to internal teams for service improvement.
  • Occasionally engage in customer-facing activities to support deployment and address client concerns directly.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT hardware and software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing, CRM, inventory management, and logistics software.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT hardware and software staging, logistics, or related fields.
