Job summary

Sun Valley, CA – Technology manufacturer in Sun Valley specializing in biomedical tools is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. The role is full time – temp to hire, with Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm shifts, and compensation of $19 to $23 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, inventory, QA, device history file maintenance, and maintaining a clean, safe stockroom while following the company quality system.

Qualifications

• Ability to type 25+ words per minute.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain environment.
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to use hand tools for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work with small parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform work from written work instructions, drawings and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and perform receiving inspection as defined in the quality system.
• Process international and domestic shipping labels and documents.
• Final kitting and packaging for customer shipments.
• QA and device history file maintenance.
• Notify supervisor when supplies are low and cover for absent staff when volumes require.
