We have an immediate opening for a Logistics Specialist. In this role, you will assist in the safe and timely receiving, packing, storage, transport, labeling, and loading of products while ensuring compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Support multiple departments to find optimal and cost-effective routes for shipping, requesting freight rates from contracted logistics service providers (LSPs).
2. Create freight and warehousing cost forecasts from source data such as SAP, financial systems, and supply plans.
3. Review and analyze monthly freight and warehousing costs to identify reasons for changes, outliers, and improvement opportunities.
4. Act as the main point of contact for logistics, transportation, and warehousing issues for inbound and outbound shipments in North America.
5. File complaints and claims against logistics service providers for compensation.
6. Analyze logistics metrics from sources like PowerBI, GCAP, and LSP performance data; create visualizations for global logistics meetings.
7. Investigate, review, and close warehouse/logistics complaints in Salesforce.
8. Review and investigate distribution incidents in the Cority system.
9. Present Salesforce complaint data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
10. Compile NA freight rate data to support product management.
11. Provide annual business forecasts by mode to procurement for various transportation modes.
12. Facilitate bi-weekly warehouse meetings to review shipments, processes, and capacity issues.
13. Lead and oversee project traction, including Value Map streaming and maintaining warehouse master files.
14. Ensure accurate and timely inventory counts in compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years in customer service, supply chain, logistics, or related roles, with SAP experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• Proficient in SAP; experience with APO, BW, PowerBI preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
