Our client, a leader in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the operational efficiency of the pilot plant. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, detail-oriented capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey

What's the Job?

• Support the Logistics Supervisor on a daily basis with ordering of raw materials.
• Collaborate with Product Development Scientists to schedule Pilot Plant trials.
• Ensure the Pilot Plant resources are available to execute the schedule.
• Follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Nestle standards for pricing while creating purchase orders.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• BS or BA degree in Logistics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 1+ years of management experience in a warehouse or food manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
