Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Associate to monitor inventory, receive and issue parts, and move materials for data center builds and repairs. You will manage stock levels, log transactions, and assist with loading and unloading shipments on site.

The ideal candidate has 0-2 years in a warehouse environment, a high school diploma, and a willingness to work onsite full-time. Prior data center logistics experience is a plus, and safety and accuracy are essential in daily duties.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in warehouse, distribution center, or inventory role.

• Willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
• Prior Logistics Specialist and Data Center logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper stock to support build/repair activities.
• Receive parts and check-out or transfer as needed to Datacenter Technicians/Engineers.
• Load/unload shipments and transport parts between locations.
• Keep precise records of all commodities moving in and out of the company.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of workspaces.

Job Description

Logistics Associates monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities. They receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Datacenter Technicians and Engineers. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations. This position involves frequent lifting of materials and products. Logistic Associates will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. They must also maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment, as well as experience and knowledge of reverse logistics processes. Experience handling vendor relationships is helpful.
