Job summary

Louis Dreyfus Company in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a logistics professional to schedule and execute biodiesel truck and rail SME logistics tailored to customer needs.

You will participate in inventory planning meetings focused on biodiesel and vegetable oil, coordinate inbound bean oil logistics with commercial and operations teams, and establish pricing matrices to meet customer and supplier origins and destinations. You will also prepare shipment paperwork and cross-train across roles.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and executes biodiesel truck and rail SME logistics to suit customer needs
• Participates in planning meetings focusing on inventory management (biodiesel and vegetable oil)
• Coordinates inbound bean oil truck and rail logistics with the commercial and operations teams
• Establishes and maintains freight pricing matrices to and from customer/supplier origins and destinations
• Communicates customer quality requirements and requests to the lab and operations teams
• Prepares and aggregates paperwork needed for inbound and outbound shipments
• Cross-train on other roles in the office
• Assist in merchandising product
• Develops competence in LDC products varying qualities
• Perform other duties as assigned.
