Job summary

LHH in Columbus, OH is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily freight and transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate pickups, communicate with customers and internal teams, and troubleshoot issues that could impact service.

This 60-90 day onsite assignment runs Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM, with responsibilities spreading across scheduling, capacity review, and records management.

Job description

Are you someone who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating moving pieces, and keeping operations running smoothly? We're partnering with a well-established transportation and logistics organization in Columbus, OH seeking a Logistics Specialist to support daily freight and transportation operations.

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring shipments are picked up and delivered on time, communicating with customers and internal teams, and troubleshooting issues that could impact service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with transportation, logistics, dispatching, supply chain, or operations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

This position is expected to last at least 60-90 days while covering a team member's leave of absence. This position will sit onsite and operate 9AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Be Doing:
