Manpower Group (USA) invites you to apply for a Logistics Specialist position in Clive, IA on the day shift. You will maintain customer profiles and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system, while tracking daily pickups and deliveries.

You will update account managers on problem loads, communicate load status to receivers and customers, take driver check calls, validate data, and investigate variances with documentation; the role supports efficient and compliant

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong written and verbal instruction comprehension.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter loads from customer tenders into Freight Optimizer.
• Update managers on problem loads and actions; communicate status to receivers and customers.
• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure timely, condition‑conscious arrivals.
• Take driver check calls, validate load data, and ensure on‑time deliveries for accounting.
• Investigate variances and complete required documentation.

What's the Job?

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; communicate load status to receivers and customers
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and condition-compliant arrivals
• Take check calls from drivers, validate load data, and ensure loads are delivered on time for accurate accounting
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete necessary documentation

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of logistics experience
• General knowledge of the transportation industry
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively
• Strong understanding of instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
