Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements
• Communicate important information to transportation, launch, engineering, planners, procurement, and other related departments to resolve problems
• Accurately label dangerous goods for domestic and international shipments
• Maintain quality control and accuracy in the satellite shipping operations
• Oversee and coordinate outbound processes
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Experience working with SAP/ERP systems
• Experience communicating across cross-functional teams
• Experience with shipping dangerous goods
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ year’s experience in outbound shipping of dangerous goods
• General understanding of lean manufacturing
• Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields
• Forklift certified and experience with handling equipment
