GE Aerospace is seeking a Logistics Quality Site Leader to drive quality execution for the Erlanger site. You will lead QMS alignment with AS9100, conduct audits, investigate non-conformances, and implement CAPA while partnering with supply chain, operations, and engineering to improve customer outcomes.

We are seeking a strong Logistics Quality Site Leader to lead quality execution for the site, with responsibility for supporting Assembly and Spares customers, driving investigations and problem resolution, and ensuring robust site accountability to the SMS and QMS. This leader will partner cross-functionally to improve customer outcomes, strengthen compliance, drive root cause and corrective actions, and embed a culture of quality, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across site operations.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for logistics operations, ensuring alignment with AS9100 and other relevant aerospace standards. Lead and conduct internal and external audits of logistics processes, suppliers, and materials, identifying non-conformances and driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Oversee incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, and outgoing material conformity to customer requirements and specifications. Manage the disposition of non-conforming material, including investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective containment and corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, operations, engineering, and customer service to resolve quality issues and improve overall logistics performance. Develop and deliver quality training programs for logistics personnel to enhance awareness and ensure adherence to quality procedures. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns related to logistics and ensure timely and effective resolution. Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records and documentation. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and GE Aviation Materials' internal policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university(or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in warehouse/logistics experience) Minimum of 5 years of warehouse/logistics/materials/engineering experience Desired Characteristics Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality leadership or management roles within a manufacturing or logistics environment, preferably in the aerospace industry. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and aerospace standards such as AS9100. Demonstrated experience in leading internal and external audits, root cause analysis, and implementing effective CAPA. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities with the capacity to influence and motivate teams. Ability to work independent and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
