Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Leipsic, Ohio, seeks Welcome Center Associates to support the packing lines, ensuring continuous operation to meet our customers' requirements and site targets.

You will work closely with planners, drivers, and shift leaders, coordinate shipments, maintain logs, and help with loading and offloading while complying with shipping regulations. The role includes on-the-job training through Mars University and eligibility for a company bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interest in learning in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Works with Planners, Taskers, Shift Leaders, and Road drivers to achieve high service levels.
• Coordinate driver, equipment, yard moves, and freight.
• Delegate work to Yard Spotters as needed.
• Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are accurate and timely.
• Facilitate outbound loading / inbound offloading by sequencing locations.
• Maintain logs accurately and on time.
• Comply with international shipping regulations.
• Prepare and distribute documented correspondence timely.
• Input data as requested and ensure accuracy.
• Check data entry and documentation for accuracy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
