Job summary

Guardian Glass in DeWitt, IA is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage visitor access and coordinate dock-to-lot operations. Starting pay is $21.00/hour, rising to $21.50 at six months and $22.00 at one year, with standard 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday hours.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, compliant, and scalable operations, plus experience with Excel and data reporting. You will support logistics, documentation, and workflow improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.
• Experience creating and maintaining work instructions, procedures, or operational documentation.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to maintain records, analyze data, or generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Review loads to ensure availability, resources, accuracy, and documentation; communicate with parties to resolve challenges.
• Manage daily administrative tasks: collect BOL paperwork, track inbound quality concerns, inspect documents, receive shipments, email communications and follow-ups, validate shipment detail accuracy.
• Communicate daily needs to OTL and team members.
• Work with supervisors and teams to improve efficiency and communication.
