Job summary

RRD in Kent, WA is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to handle daily activities for materials movement, receiving, packing, and shipping finished products. You will prepare bills of lading, load/unload goods, and ensure adherence to customer specifications and SLAs.

The role requires knowledge of shipping documents, use of forklifts, and coordination with multiple departments. A minimum of 2 years in shipping/operational support is ideal; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of Administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Able to consistently apply policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives.
• Knowledge of information systems including spreadsheets, databases and reporting systems.
• Must have adequate oral and written communication across departments.
• Requires strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (forklifts).
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials and finished products.
• Prepare bills of lading and attach shipping instructions to boxes.
• Unloading trucks and checking against bills of lading and packing slips.
• Maintain records of goods received and prepared for shipment.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and production to coordinate shipping/receiving.
