Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to support the coordination of truck, rail and international shipments. You will communicate with shippers and carriers, track shipments and help manage orders on a daily basis.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year in warehousing or logistics, strong MS Outlook and Excel skills, and the ability to work in a team or independently. Shift is 2nd shift, with a $1.00 premium and attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
• Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
• Track and trace all shipments.
• Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP.
• Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
• Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
• Identify problems to management and resolve basic billing questions.
