Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented shipping clerk to support our logistics team. You will handle customer service functions, verify outbound shipments, and prepare shipping documents for carriers.

This role requires strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and meticulous record keeping as you coordinate with OTR truck drivers and warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Completes Customer service functions as necessary.
• Ensure the accuracy of all outbound shipments.
• Responsible for completing all required shipping documents (BOL, Manifests).
• Maintains files of all required shipping documents.
• Completes Inventory reconciliations as required.
• Communicates with OTR truck drivers and Warehouse forklift drivers.
