Georgia-Pacific Corp.'s Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA is hiring a Shift Supervisor in the Logistics department. This role works a rotating 12-hour shift including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with a 14-days-off cycle every 4 weeks.

It reports to the Performance and Capability Leader and emphasizes PBM culture and team development. The starting rate is $27 per hour, with potential for a yearly bonus based on performance and site goals, plus eligibility for pay progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computing tools (Office, SAP) to create reports and communicate.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Experience prioritizing work and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team members to apply PBM principles and uphold culture.
• Improve Environmental, Health, and Safety and Compliance by identifying and resolving hazards.
• Manage product system metrics related to workforce performance.
• Align asset strategies and ensure capability to execute them.
• Collaborate with leaders and engineers to develop technicians and operators.
• Ensure development plans align with mill goals.
• Use PSQ process per mill standards.
• Own labor costs, overtime, and staffing of the team.
• Use leading and lagging measures to track performance.
