Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening and Badge Processing in Indianapolis, IN. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, and report security concerns to maintain a safe environment for our clients in a logistics setting.

The role emphasizes customer service, credential verification, and calm incident response. A high school diploma and background check are required; driving positions may require a valid license, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and access control is preferred.
• Experience with badge systems and loss prevention is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by performing site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen individuals, packages, and items entering designated areas and report prohibited items.
• Verify credentials and access authorizations before permitting entry to controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations and report accordingly.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening points and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
