Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Security Officer Full Time Screening Compliance to safeguard clients across industries, including Logistics & Distribution. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics location, you will use screening technology to support security operations, monitor access points, and help identify concerns. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors while delivering customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check required by law.
Drug screen required by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
Armed roles may require additional licensing.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related screening procedures and following site policies.
Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and permitted items entering designated areas according to established procedures and access requirements.
Monitor screening equipment and access points, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report concerns to site contacts and leadership.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation and documentation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading locations, and spaces as assigned; environments may vary by location.
