Job summary

Evonik Industries AG in Mobile, AL seeks a Production & Logistics Coordinator to support the Sodium Methylate Plant. You will input production data into SAP, manage the railcar fleet, and coordinate packaging needs while interfacing with Supply Chain, Shipping, and Customer Service to meet customer requirements.

The role requires solid office experience, strong Excel and SAP skills, and a proactive, organized approach to multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years office experience preferred with background in accounting practices.
• Must be able to relate in a professional manner to co-workers and outside contacts.
• Excellent organizational skills and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain raw material consumption and production in SAP.
• Process replenishment orders and generate batch numbers/labels.
• Manage Railcar Fleet and coordinate fleet maintenance, cleaning, and invoice payment.
• Oversee inventory control and investigate discrepancies with production and logistics teams.
• Prepare month-end reports and variance analysis for campaigns.
• Maintain plant records, documentation, shipping documents, and waste generation records.
• Create purchase orders and manage non-stock materials and outline agreements.
• Update Quality Control profiles in SAP and onboard new customers for CofA.
• Set up sample shipments to customers.
