Job summary

Evonik in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a logistics-minded professional to support the Sodium Methylate Plant. You will enter and maintain raw material consumption and production in SAP, manage the railcar fleet, and handle packaging needs.

Collaborating with Supply Chain, Shipping, and Customer Service, you will ensure timely issue resolution, maintain inventory, create purchase orders, and update quality control profiles in SAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of office experience preferred with accounting background.
• Advanced word processing; intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain raw material consumption and production in SAP, including multiple material numbers.
• Process replenishment orders, generate batch numbers and label requests.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Shipping, and Customer Service to resolve issues promptly to meet customer requirements.
• Manage Railcar Fleet of 110 cars; act as SPOC for carriers on fleet maintenance, repair, and related costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished products; investigate discrepancies and adjust in SAP.
• Create purchase orders and manage non-stock materials and outline agreements.
