The ATS Logistics team is seeking a Sales Team Manager for our St. Cloud, MN office, reporting to the Zarns Team.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Sales Team Manager is responsible for developing and supporting a sales team, establishing sales strategies, and implementing sales goals to increase revenue and client base. The focus will be on mentoring the sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth aligned with company vision and values.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the sales efforts by building and maintaining customer relationships through contact and advocacy.
  2. Support qualification of new prospects via inside sales development.
  3. Guide the team in converting inbound prospect calls to sales.
  4. Make outbound follow-up calls to existing and potential customers via phone and email.
  5. Create a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  6. Serve as a point of escalation and resolution for problems.
  7. Develop cold calling skills within the team.
  8. Achieve and exceed targeted revenue and profit goals.
  9. Evaluate individual team members' performance against goals.
  10. Recommend development plans for team members and monitor progress.
  11. Recognize and encourage milestone achievements.
  12. Create a culture of respect and engagement.
Qualifications:
  • Higher education (two- or four-year degree) preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of marketing, sales, and customer service principles.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of transportation sales achievement experience with proven deal-closing ability.

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range is $55,000 to $85,000, based on experience and qualifications. Additional performance incentives are available.
