Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a capable planner/scheduler to support warehouse operations in Auburn, WA. The role provides a conduit between sales and warehouse supervision, assisting internal and external customers and maintaining production and distribution records.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2 years of planner experience, and knowledge of MASS and Microsoft Office. Shift is 6:00am-2:30pm, with a pay range of $23.10-$25.50 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years planner/scheduler work experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MASS and Microsoft Office.
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
• Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse personnel to resolve issues and problems.
• Schedules basic transportation needs and communicates with truck drivers for standard shipping.
• Edit all truck loads in system for accuracy and delivered in a timely manner for specific processes or commodities.
• Draft necessary job-related correspondence, memorandums and emails.
• Create ad hoc reports when needed.
• Respond to a high daily volume of communication.
