Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a Logistics/Planners coordinator to act as a conduit between sales personnel and warehouse supervision. You will assist internal and external customers, provide administrative support for production and distribution, and maintain both hard copy and electronic files related to shipping and material certifications.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years planner/scheduler work experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MASS and Microsoft Office
  • Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
  • Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • Completion or working towards a 2-year degree

  • Respond to a high daily volume of communication
  • Has a thorough understanding of the work order process
  • Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality and lean initiatives and requirements
  • Complete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) when required
  • Assist in any other duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager
