Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA is hiring a planner/scheduler to act as a liaison between sales, purchasing and warehouse teams. The role supports production and distribution, maintains documents, and ensures timely completion of work orders and reports.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of planner experience, and proficiency with MASS and Microsoft Office. Physical duties and safety compliance are required in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years planner/scheduler experience in manufacturing/production.
• Strong working knowledge of MASS and Microsoft Office.
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse personnel to resolve issues and problems.
• Schedules basic transportation needs and communicates with truck drivers for standard shipping.
• Edit all truck loads in system for accuracy and timely delivery for specific processes or commodities.
• Deliver work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Draft necessary job related correspondence, memorandums and emails.
• Create ad hoc reports when needed.
• Respond to a high daily volume of communication.
• Assist in any other duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager.
