Job summary

Michigan Paving and Materials, a CRH Company, offers an Intern - Logistics/Sales (Construction) position. The intern will gain exposure to transportation and logistics management within a vertically integrated company and contribute to other business operations.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers and dispatch teams, supporting operations, and meeting personnel at plants and customer sites. Enrollment in an accredited college is required and a professional demeanor is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university (ongoing).
• Ability to read English language sufficiently to read specifications and manuals.
• Willingness to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external customers via email and telephone.
• Advise the dispatch team of customer specialty needs.
• Participate in daily updates and reviews with Dispatch Team.
• Assist managers to support operations activities.
• Gather and distribute operational rules to Carrier Fleet across sites.
• Meet with key personnel at aggregate plants and customer locations.
