Job summary

IEL Integrity Express Logistics seeks a Logistics Account Executive, Trainee to learn our sales, operations and service processes in a structured training program and apply them to build a personal book of business. You will blend training with prospecting, order execution and customer relationships to prepare for advancement to a Logistics Account Executive II.

As you progress, you will make calls to prospective clients, develop long-term partnerships, negotiate rates and ensure on-time pickups

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Phone sales experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make prospecting calls to provide logistics solutions for future clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers resulting in residual business.
• Negotiate rates and bid on future business.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods by making dispatch and check calls.
• Collect and file necessary paperwork for timely payment.
• Perform various account management tasks such as load building, appointment scheduling, phone management and email correspondence.
