Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks and containers to maximize productivity and on-time service.
• Analyze daily routing information and implement changes to improve route efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to same-day changes and plan for next-day needs to optimize routing.
• Ensure all routes close on time by verifying data accuracy and process durability.
• Proactively resolve issues that arise while trucks and drivers are in transit.
• Guide driver safety and manage company asset security while providing direction to drivers.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy and decision-making.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers to track progress and share information.
• Review and address driver performance concerns for resolution.
• Understand route sequencing to drive efficiency and meet service commitments.
• Schedule customers accordingly to handle missed pickups and service delays.
• Develop strategies to prevent future missed pickups and improve reliability.
• Create routes with maximum capacity and review loads per driver to boost profitability.
• Monitor daily routing activities and identify swing routes if needed.
