Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers, optimizing capacity and productivity while ensuring prompt, courteous service to customers.

The role involves analyzing routing data, implementing route improvements, monitoring on-time pickups and deliveries, and maintaining communication with drivers to support safety and efficiency. A strong emphasis is placed on customer experience and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience working in a Dispatcher or similar leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drivers, trucks and containers to optimize capacity and productivity.
• Analyze daily routing information and implement changes for route efficiency.
• Respond to same-day changes and plan for next-day service needs.
• Ensure routes are closed on time and data is accurate.
• Proactively resolve issues with trucks and drivers in transit.
• Monitor driver safety and protect company assets.
• Analyze logistics data to improve routing accuracy and loads per driver.
