Job summary

Avalon Transportation is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to gather all information necessary to fulfill client transportation needs and enter it accurately into reservation or dispatch systems. Schedule is flexible with weekends required.

Starting pay is $20-$23 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance. This role involves handling calls, emails, online bookings, and coordination with affiliate networks to ensure high-quality

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, email requests and online booking requests for service from client.
• Accurately input reservation request and any necessary changes into all appropriate computer systems in a concise and professional manner.
• Keep up to date on Avalon’s products, services, policies and procedures.
• Reconfirm future reservations with clients.
• Build rapport with clients by becoming knowledgeable about their account, special needs and particular preferences.
• Continuously monitor all incoming reservation channels and answer inquiries about the company, service, rates and travel time promptly and professionally.
• Handle reservations for affiliate work and coordinate with affiliate network for trips.
• Monitor the status of national rides to ensure clients receive excellent customer service from our affiliate network.
• Identify and resolve problems with incoming orders and escalate as needed.
• Proactively handle customer service complaints and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Accurately help build client profiles and accounts by informing accounting of new information.
• Perform basic dispatch functions such as coding, calling affiliates, obtaining chauffeur details and sending new trips.
• Check all work at the end of shift and secure greeters when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
