Job summary

Avalon Transportation, LLC is seeking a qualified Dispatcher to manage daily dispatching duties for premium chauffeured services. This onsite position requires coordinating bookings, drivers, and customers with a focus on timely pickups and accurate status updates.

Open to full-time or part-time candidates; wage ranges from $23 to $26 per hour based on experience. The role demands availability to cover schedule variations and strong communication with chauffeurs and office staff.

• Experience as a dispatcher handling bookings and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all bookings are dispatched in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure customers are picked up in a timely manner.
• Know the location of all vehicles while dispatching.
• Keep dispatch screen updated and coded accurately at all times.
• Communicate changes and details with chauffeurs, lead dispatcher, and other personnel.
• Oversee the checking in and out of vehicles and report repairs, damage, loss or abuse as needed.
• Interact with office staff, managers, customers and chauffeurs for special requests pertaining to certain jobs.
• Take customer calls including reservations, changes, and cancellations.
• Handle customer complaints courteously and forward to proper personnel.
• Create incident reports for reservation issues.

ONSITE ONLY- Opportunity for a FT or PT candidate; must be flexible with the schedule

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $26.00 (Based on Experience)

• Ensure all bookings are dispatched in accordance with company policy.


• Ensure that all customers are picked up in a timely manner.


• Responsible for always knowing the location of all vehicles while dispatching.


• Keep dispatch screen updated and coded accurately at all times.


• Communicate all changes and details with chauffeurs, lead dispatcher, as well as any other appropriate personnel.


• Oversee the checking in and out of vehicles and equipment while communicating to the appropriate source necessary repairs, damage, loss or abuse of either.


• Interact with office staff, managers, customers and chauffeurs to ensure the accommodation of any special requests pertaining to certain jobs.


• Take customer calls that include reservations, changes, and/or cancellations.


• Handle customer complaints courteously and efficiently while forwarding the call or information to the proper individual(s).


• Report an issue with a reservation, by creating an incident report.
