SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of logistics at the AEIL Location. This position will be trained in many fuctions at MLC & will be expected to perform work at MLC as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for QCDSM in his/her overall area of responsibility.
• Belongs to a salaried, "exempt" category.
• Responsible for verifying the entries on the worksheets in his/her area of responsibility.
• Responsible for promptly taking corrective actions when an "abnormality" has occurred in his/her area of responsibility.
• Required to have knowledge of fair labor practices.
• Responsible for accurately assessing and developing the skill levels of all of his/her workers.
• Responsible for working with the HR department and being involved in disciplinary actions for his/her employees.
• Managing, coaching and directing hourly Team Members in Shipping and Receiving.
• Directing the problem solving activities of the Shipping and Receiving area.
• Analyzing processes for continuous improvement.
• Primary contact for customers in issues related to orders, expedites and shipments.
• Work with suppliers to handle problems regarding advance shipping notices.
• Analyzing and continuously improve overall logistic efficiency.
• Determine and prepare T/M daily work (Standardize work).
• Determine and prepare logistics training requirements and plan.
• Implement abnormal occurrence plan when necessary.
• Supporting the efforts of other sections within the company to achieve goals and targets.
• Control inventory of Components. Issue Order requests to MLC as needed.
• Perform Proper repack for Finished Goods to insure safe transport to the MLC.
• Use of all Logistics equipment - Forklift, Stacker, Pallet Jack electric & non electric, pallet wrapper, scanners, banders.
• Use of MLC Logisitcs equipment, including all Forklifts, Box Truck, Tuggers, and WMS
• Part Supply to ECU room through use of AGV method or Push Cart method
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
• Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will manage and direct HAN-CHOs and Hourly Team Members. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of electronic automotive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of the Toyota Production System and JIT.
• Complete process, logistics and inventory knowledge.
• General physics ability.
• Excellent written communication skills.

• Ability to function independently without requiring assistance from, or disturbing the work of others. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
• 5 years of prior applicable experience in Logistics and / or Shipping and Receiving.
• 2 years supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Electronics experience desired.
• Automotive experience desired.
• Valid passport for travel required for travel - Company can help obtain
• Class "C" driver license preferred - back up member for AEIL box truck driver - will train & help procure license
• Must be able to obtain & maintain AEIL & MLC Forklift certification ORGANIZATIONAL (AND OUTSIDE) RELATIONSHIPS
• All other AEIL Departments and various outside vendors and customers. WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting.
• Exposed to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing areas were under certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes and safety glasses.
