Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to manage receipt, inspection, and storage of materials and to prepare finished goods for shipment. The role collaborates with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to support timely delivery and accurate records.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in shipping/receiving, proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office, and can lift up to 50 pounds regularly. OSHA safety practices and ERP familiarity are beneficial.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including data entry into inventory management systems.
Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to organize storage and timely retrieval of materials and finished goods.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all shipping and receiving processes.
Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or delays.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
