Job summary

Trystar is seeking a Material Coordinator in the Materials Department at our Houston, TX facility. This role reports to the Materials Supervisor and ensures the right inventory is in the right place at the right time to support production.

You will work with Epicor ERP, read and follow SOPs, and collaborate cross-functionally with production stakeholders to maintain efficient material flow. Safety and accuracy are essential to our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read instructions and safely operate machines.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities.
• Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must read, write and comprehend plant directives in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate material handling deliveries according to production needs.
• Help define, improve, and uphold process standards.
• Read, comprehend, and execute material processes in Epicor ERP.
• Follow SOPs to operate equipment and manufacture products.
• Act on production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles within the plant.
• Read job travelers, pick lists, and system workflows.
• Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
