Job summary

Laepple Automotive US Inc in Detroit seeks a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments, receiving, and overall logistics. You will work closely with vendors, carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate ERP data.

The role requires an associates degree in supply chain or related field, 3+ years in automotive manufacturing logistics, and experience with ERP systems (Penta or SAP).

Qualifications

• Associates degree in supply chain management or a relevant field is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in an automotive manufacturing Tier I or II supplier.
• MRP experience and familiarity with ERP systems (Penta and/or SAP) strongly preferred.
• Experience with logistics coordination, inventory management and stakeholder problem solving.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
• Coordinate, track and record movement of goods through logistics pathways.
• Receive incoming shippers and outgoing deliveries into ERP.
• Schedule deliveries with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain ERP and MRP data accuracy and resolve issues as required.
• Own and coordinate Shipping & Receiving team and related metrics.
• Verify inbound/outbound Bills of Lading and Packing Lists and ensure BOM integrity.
• Adhere to ISO requirements and safety regulations.
