Job summary

Somafina, a nutraceutical manufacturing company in Utah, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager for our Lindon facility. The role owns every pallet that enters and leaves the plant, with a 24/7 operation on high-speed lines; closing work orders daily is the top priority to ensure invoicing readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in shipping/receiving or warehousing, including 3+ years in leadership, and experience with ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience, including at least 3 years leading a team.
Experience closing work orders and reconciling transactions in an ERP system; strong attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

Close out every completed work order in the system each day to prepare for invoicing.
Direct receiving, inbound control, and lot/QA checks to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Manage carriers and freight costs; review freight invoices; keep leadership informed of performance metrics.
Lead, schedule, train, and coach staff across shifts; maintain SOPs and training.
Ensure compliance with cGMP (21 CFR Part 111), lot traceability, sanitary transportation, and OSHA safety requirements.
