Job summary

Pivot Group Network is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead in Grandville, MI. The role focuses on directing daily shipping and receiving operations and leading a team to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing shipping/receiving, proven leadership, and experience with ERP/MRP systems. Forklift certification is preferred, with emphasis on safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in shipping/receiving within manufacturing.
Proven leadership experience, including training and mentoring team members.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems for inventory management.
Current forklift certification preferred.
Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse safety.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancies.
Coordinate logistics with carriers and internal departments for timely deliveries and receipts.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and best practices in the warehouse.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and receiving issues and discrepancies.
