Qualifications
- 3–5 years in shipping, receiving, or warehousing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and systems (ERP, WMS).
- Forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and systems.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to meet shipping deadlines.
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits of shipping and receiving processes to identify areas for improvement.
