Job summary

Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command (DAF) in Youngstown, OH seeks an Air Reserve Technician to support the wing’s deployment and readiness programs. Responsibilities include directing deployment plans, evaluating logistics readiness, and assisting with WRM programs while training reservists in the required tasks.

The role requires specialized knowledge of logistics and KSAs, with eligibility for ART status and security clearance. Extensive travel or duty-hour flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wing logistics plans for mobility, deployment, contingency and related readiness programs.
• Knowledge of logistics principles, practices, policies and data systems to analyze requirements.
• Ability to apply qualitative/quantitative methods to assess logistics plans and programs.
• Knowledge of procedures for proper execution of support agreements.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, development and maintenance of the wing’s deployment program.
• Plan for and evaluate logistics readiness.
• Assist in maintaining the wing’s War Readiness Materiel program.
• Monitor readiness assessment activities, ORI/ORE and exercises.
• Present briefings and participate in meetings and panels.
