Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Logistics Quality Engineer in the United States to drive quality across supplier performance, audits, and continuous improvement. You will lead risk assessments, develop PFMEA, and CAPA actions while partnering with operations, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to meet business objectives.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, 3+ years in logistics quality or operations, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Logistics Operations/Quality role.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in quality engineering (QMS systems), risk assessments, ISO audits and supplier quality processes.
• Experience quality control tools/methods, such as PFMEA, SPC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, audit protocols, SOPs, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, support ISO compliance initiatives, and drive continuous adherence to quality standards across logistics operations.
• Analyze logistics and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities, reduce waste, mitigate risk, and enhance quality performance.
• Lead root cause investigations using DMAIC, 8D, A3, and Kaizen, implementing CAPA.
• Develop PFMEA documentation, control plans, work instructions, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with operations, engineering, procurement, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage supplier quality performance, including corrective action follow-up and performance reviews.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data; develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and process assessments to ensure products and processes meet quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring results and coaching stakeholders.
