Everflow Supplies LLC in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Purchasing / Logistics Coordinator to support purchasing and supply chain operations. You will coordinate purchase orders, communicate with suppliers and freight forwarders, and help ensure on-time delivery of materials and products.

The role involves maintaining ERP records, monitoring shipments, and collaborating with Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Formación

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, import/export, or a related function.
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or inventory-driven environment preferred.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and working with freight forwarders, carriers, or customs brokers preferred.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, inventory management, freight terminology, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and follow issues through resolution.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate purchase orders based on approved purchasing requirements and inventory needs.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, production status, pricing, quantities, availability and ship dates.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
• Monitor open purchase orders and shipments from order placement through final delivery, addressing delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, shipment, vendor, and item information in ERP and tracking tools.
• Review inventory levels, demand, lead times, and open orders to identify shortages or requirements.
• Obtain and review freight quotes, shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other docs as needed.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, Finance to resolve discrepancies.
• Track supplier and logistics performance and escalate concerns when needed.
• Support continuous improvement to increase purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.

Position Summary

Position Summary

The Purchasing / Logistics Coordinator supports Everflow Supplies’ purchasing and supply chain operations by coordinating purchase orders, supplier communication, inventory requirements and shipments. This position serves as an important link between suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal departments to help ensure materials and products are purchased and delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

What You'll Do

• A.Documentation
  • Document Collection Gathering ISF details , ISF confirmation , invoices, packing list, certificates of origin, MTR , Freight back up and other mandatory papers from suppliers. Ensuring each shipment entry and document set is filed separately per container.
  • Verification Checking accuracy of details like B/L # , container numbers, item quantities, HS codes, Item Price and Payment and freight terms as per purchase orders.
  • ERP Entry Enter shipment missing details into ERP systems, Verify the details and if any issue correct it as per the P.O.
  • Communication Coordinating with suppliers, forwarders, C.A , banks
  • Follow-ups Sending reminders to suppliers for pending documents and escalating delays to management if needed.

B Purchasing

• Create, issue, maintain, and follow up on purchase orders based on approved purchasing requirements and inventory needs.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding purchase orders, production status, pricing, quantities, availability and expected ship dates.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal warehouse teams.
• Monitor open purchase orders and shipments from order placement through final delivery, proactively addressing delays, discrepancies, or other issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, shipment, vendor, and item information within the ERP system and related tracking tools.
• Review inventory levels, demand information, lead times, and open orders to help identify potential shortages, excess inventory, or purchasing requirements.
• Obtain and review freight quotes, shipping documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other import/export documentation as required.
• Partner with Warehouse, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and other departments to resolve purchasing, receiving, inventory, and shipment discrepancies.
• Track supplier and logistics performance, including lead times, delivery performance, order accuracy, and recurring issues, and elevate concerns when appropriate.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase purchasing efficiency, improve inventory availability, reduce freight or supply chain costs, and strengthen supplier performance.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing, or a related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, supply chain, import/export, or a related function preferred.
• Experience working in a distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or inventory-driven environment strongly preferred.

Target Compensation Range: The posted pay range of $50,000-$60,000.00 represents the anticipated hiring range for this position. Individual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, internal compensation practices, and other job-related business considerations, consistent with applicable law.
