Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a Logistics Program Manager to oversee transportation, warehouse operations, and courier services under a major IC contract. You will lead logistics staff, interface with government stakeholders, and ensure mission readiness through compliant program execution.

Bachelor’s in Logistics/SCM/Business and 8–10 years in logistics with 3–5 years in leadership are required. Top Secret/S CI poly level clearance familiarity may be expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience within logistics, supply chain management; 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and government property control.
  • Understanding of courier services and government vehicle management.
  • Familiarity with logistics audit support and compliance inspections.
  • Knowledge of procurement and materials handling.

Responsibilities

  • Centralized oversight of transportation, executive transportation, and courier services.
  • Management of logistics personnel and direct engagement with Government stakeholders.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting for secure movement, classified courier activities, and government property handling.
  • Oversight of warehouse, material management, and cargo services.
  • Coordination of mailroom operations and government vehicle utilization.
  • Interface with multiple stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and mission effectiveness.
  • Participation in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting as related to logistics functions.
  • Construction-related activities including daily inspections, red-lines, submittal review and approval, and RFI responses.
  • Review of construction drawings and creation of ‘take-offs’ for primary tradecraft.
  • Estimating and use of software estimating tools.
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding logistics-related problems with varying complexity.

Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.

As the Logistics Program Manager , you will ensure performance compliance with contract requirements, while managing logistics staff tasking, and interfacing with government stakeholders to support mission and readiness objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

8-10 Years of progressive experience within logistics, supply chain management; 3-5 years in a leadership role.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
  • Previous project or logistics management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and government property control
  • Understanding of courier services and government vehicle management
  • Familiarity with logistics audit support and compliance inspections
  • Knowledge of procurement and materials handling
  • Ability to delegate effectively and foster team performance
