Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. in Arlington, VA seeks a Logistics/Program Support Analyst to provide technical, logistics, and program support to PEO IWS-11 for the Phalanx CIWS and RAM missiles. Onsite role supporting fleet ILS, spares budgeting, and missile inventory management.

The position requires 4–6 years of Navy/DoD weapon system program experience and an active Secret clearance, with familiarity in ILS, provisioning, and inventory management. Previous Navy FC/ET experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in logistics, program support, or technical support to a Navy or DoD weapon system program.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Navy shipboard weapon systems, ILS processes, and supply provisioning practices.
  • Previous US Navy FC or ET would be the ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to PEO IWS-11 related to maintenance and training for the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System and RAM Guided Missile Weapon System.
  • Prepare briefing and training materials in support of program and fleet requirements.
  • Provide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors.
  • Prepare briefings and participate in various program meetings.
  • Provide technical feedback to the fleet through communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins.
  • Generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
  • Resolve supply support related issues.
  • Support the development and update of provisioning documentation.
  • Coordinate spares budget submittals and assist in spares budget reviews.
  • Develop briefing material for Baseline Assessment Memorandums and support data sheet updates for spares budgeting.
  • Develop O&MN requirements for submission via the OPOM database, and assist in spares modeling for both wholesale and retail levels.
  • Prepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals, and Integrated Logistics Assessment documentation.
  • Provide ILS technical review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and identify impacts to ILS.
  • Manage and update US Fleet missile inventory data, and support “what-if” scenario planning for budget development and justification.
  • Provide data support for Navy Ordnance Inventory Management systems and readiness requirements.
  • Assist in the management of government-owned assets.

Synectic Solutions is seeking a Logistics/Program Support Analyst to provide technical, logistics, and program support to the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, PEO IWS-11, in support of the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) and the RAM Guided Missile Weapon System. The successful candidate will support fleet technical assistance, integrated logistics support (ILS), supply and spares budgeting, and missile inventory management activities across the program office. This position is onsite in Arlington (Crystal City), VA.

Job Responsibilities
Technical, Training, and Program Support
  • Provide technical expertise to PEO IWS-11 related to maintenance and training for the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System and RAM Guided Missile Weapon System.
