Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. seeks a seasoned logistics and ILS professional to support DoD fleet programs. You will coordinate with government field activities and hardware contractors, manage action items, and provide SIPR traffic support.

The role includes preparing briefs, issuing feedback via Fleet Advisory messages, and generating weekly ILS/In-Service reports. Required are U.S. citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, and a BS or BBA with at least 10 years supporting the US Navy.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and coordination support with government field activities and hardware contractors; manage and verify action item status.
• Provide SIPR Message Traffic Support and prepare briefs for program meetings.
• Deliver technical feedback to the fleet via Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins; produce weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
• Resolve supply support issues and assist in spares budgeting and provisioning documentation.
• Develop briefing material and data sheets for spares budgeting; support O&M requirements in OPOM Database and spares modeling.
• Prepare or review lifecycle sustainment plans, ordnance plans, disposal plans, manuals; provide ILS review of ECPs and impacts.
• Manage US Fleet missile inventory data; support budget scenarios and readiness requirements; assist government assets management.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide planning and coordination support, including liaison with government field activities and hardware contractors. Manage, track, maintain, and verifying the status of Action Items.
• Provide SIPR Message Traffic Support.
• Prepare briefings and participate in various program meetings. Provide technical feedback to the fleet through various communications such as Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins. Generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
• Resolve supply support related issues. Support the development and update of provisioning documentation. Coordinate spares budget submittals and assist in spares budget reviews.
• Develop briefing material for Baseline Assessment Memorandums and support data sheet updates for spares budgeting. Develop O&MN requirements for submission via the OPOM Database and assist in spares modeling both wholesale and retail.
• Prepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals and Integrated Logistics Assessment documentation. Provide ILS technical review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and identify impacts to ILS.
• Manage and update US Fleet missile inventory data, support what-if scenario planning for budget development and justification. Provide data support for Navy Ordnance Inventory Management systems and readiness requirements. Assist in the management of government-owned assets

Education/Experience/Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration.
• Must have 10 years of experience supporting the USN.

Desired Experience:

• Experience performing maintenance on Navy missiles and components.
• Recent and relevant experience in conducting software uploading and testing, removing and replacing hardware and/or equipment and reviewing design and drawing documents of USN Navy missiles.
