Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) seeks a seasoned logistics and ILS professional to support planning, coordination with government field activities and hardware contractors, and to manage action items and SIPR traffic.

You will prepare briefings, contribute to program meetings, and generate status reports while delivering technical feedback to the fleet and assisting in provisioning, spare parts budgeting, and lifecycle sustainment plans for Navy missiles. U.S.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting US Navy missile programs is required.
  • Experience conducting software uploading and testing on Navy missiles and related components.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and coordination support with government field activities and hardware contractors.
  • Manage, track, maintain, and verify the status of action items.
  • Provide SIPR message traffic support.
  • Prepare briefings and participate in program meetings; give technical feedback to the fleet via Fleet Advisory messages and Technical Bulletins; generate weekly ILS/In-Service Status Reports.
  • Resolve supply issues; support provisioning docs; coordinate and review spares budget submissions.
  • Develop briefing materials for Baseline Assessment Memorandums; support spares budgeting data sheets; develop O&MN requirements for OPOM submission and assist in spares modeling.
  • Prepare or review Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans, Ordnance Assessment Plans, Demilitarization/Disposal Plans, Technical Manuals, and ILS documentation; review ECPs and assess impacts to ILS.
  • Manage and update US Fleet missile inventory data; support scenario planning for budget development; assist in government-owned asset management.

Education/Experience/Skills:
  • U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Must have 10 years of experience supporting the USN
Desired Experience:
  • Experience performing maintenance on Navy missiles and components
  • Recent and relevant experience in conducting software uploading and testing, removing and replacing hardware and/or equipment and reviewing design and drawing documents of USN Navy missiles
