Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support fleet maintenance and vessel operations at Kings Bay, GA. Responsibilities include inventory management, admin tasks, and complex purchasing coordination to meet project timelines.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse or supply chain experience, strong oral and written communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A confidential security clearance is required for this location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse or supply chain experience, military/DOD experience is highly sought.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work alone or in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable with databases and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Inventory support: maintain inventories and coordinate shipping/receiving to avoid project delays.
• Admin support: assist in projects, review documents, and compile financial data for budgets.
• Purchasing support: assist in procurement, vendor reviews, and ensure compliant purchasing practices.
• Ideal candidate will analyze data, apply policies, and prepare reports; understands math and statistics.
