Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Logistics Engineer to support process improvement and cost-out projects, involving operational analysis, facility and capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration within Global Logistics.

You will identify optimization opportunities, develop tools, run ad hoc queries, and build cost models while coordinating with multiple levels of the organization. Travel up to 50% is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SQL/Visual Basic and data modeling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify logistics process improvement opportunities and lead cross‑functional projects.
• Develop business tools and propose system or software enhancements.
• Create reports, run ad hoc queries, and develop cost models.
• Provide facility and capacity planning analyses for distribution and transportation.
