Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst to drive analysis, forecasting, and process improvements across complex logistics initiatives in the United States. The role emphasizes data management, ad-hoc reporting, and collaboration with multiple teams to optimize performance.

You will develop tools, mentor junior analysts, and communicate recommendations to senior management while supporting cost-saving projects and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Experience with Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Project/Word/Visio).
• Advanced skills in data acquisition and analysis tools such as SQL/Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activity for large-scale initiatives like Supply Chain Sync and Breakpack enhancements.
• Develop and execute scorecards for project metrics and business-case evaluation.
• Forecast, develop and implement process improvements for assigned projects.
• Perform data mining/analysis and cost-benefit analysis to support business needs.
• Manage vendor/business partner relationships.
