Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer focused on Logistics to partner with Logistics, Production, Planning, Warehouse, and Manufacturing Engineering to improve internal material flow using SAP and data analysis on the shop floor.

You will drive scalable logistics solutions, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement standard work, visual controls, and training that support the factory’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing logistics, warehousing, material handling, supply chain, production support, or process improvement.
• Hands-on SAP ERP knowledge to track inventory, movements, and production requirements for analysis.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge including 5S, standard work, Kanban, visual management, and problem solving.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; shop-floor coordination across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements to internal logistics processes from receiving to line delivery.
• Analyze material flow to identify shortages, bottlenecks, and unnecessary handling.
• Develop scalable logistics solutions such as Kanban systems and supermarkets.
• Use SAP to track availability, movements, and production requirements.
• Establish and monitor logistics performance indicators and on-time delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to sustain improvements via standard work and training.
