Job summary

DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee (DMTN) is seeking a Logistics Process Engineer to lead automation and process improvements across warehouse and material-handling operations. You will evaluate AGVs, AMRs, and ASRS, develop specs and training plans, and drive capital projects from budgeting through implementation.

The role requires a strong background in engineering, 5+ years of experience, and collaboration with multiple internal teams. Domestic and international travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; co-op considered.
• Strong AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience defining equipment acceptance criteria and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and introduce automation (AGVs, AMRs, ASRS) to improve labor and space efficiency.
• Lead logistics projects from budget through procurement, design review, implementation and sustainment.
• Analyze data, perform cycle time analyses, capacity studies for warehouse and conveyance operations.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts and space plans; design equipment and tools for logistics.
• Build and run simulations to test process and layout changes; identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sites to implement new technologies and report results.
